Skills

mattstack's skills are Claude Code skills: fanning work out across parallel agents, picking the right model for each, running a ticket through a repeatable pipeline, and reviewing work before it merges. They install as the mattstack plugin, so every skill carries the mattstack: prefix.

What you can ask for

Only a handful of skills are directly invocable once the plugin is installed:

  • mattstack:shepherdr fans work out across parallel agents.
  • mattstack:subagent-review-loop gets a spec or plan reviewed until a reviewer signs off.
  • mattstack:wrap-up turns open decisions into a form.
  • mattstack:writing-style-conversational, -sparse and -structured are the voice presets for prose posted under your name.
  • mattstack:creating-a-pack and mattstack:extending-a-pack put the pipeline on your team's repo and teach it your rules.
  • mattstack:editing-skills, mattstack:getting-current-time and mattstack:process-digraphs are the other public doors. The first triggers when a skill change is not showing up where it should. The second almost never does, because a hook already stamps the time into context on every prompt. The third triggers when you write or revise a skill that walks an agent through a process from start to end, such as a pipeline stage or a release, and draws that process as a graph the agent follows.

Everything else in the plugin is an engine: it is not on any slash menu and becomes runnable only once a team's own pack compiles it into a verb. Those are the pipeline stages, the review cluster and the forge adapters, so a team pack, not the plugin on its own, is what gives you /<team>:work. See Packs.

Install

Setup installs the plugin from the mattstack marketplace. By hand:

bash
claude plugin marketplace add m4ttstack/mattstack-marketplace
claude plugin install mattstack@mattstack

Pick up an update

bash
claude plugin update mattstack@mattstack

Then run /reload-plugins in your Claude Code session to load the update.

If you maintain a team pack, rt skills sync brings the pack's compiled skills and installed plugin caches current. It refuses on content drift.
