What is mattstack

mattstack is an agentic application stack for engineers, built for you and your team. It runs your agents in parallel, lets them talk to each other, and shows the work landing. It ships as mattstack.app for Macs with Apple silicon running macOS 14 or newer.

What you get

  • Apps: board, deck, console, chat, boxscore, fast-browser and flock, each for one part of working with agents.
  • rt CLI: the command line piece, for worktrees, safer git, ports and the plumbing agents use to coordinate.
  • gitq: stacked branches and their merge requests.
  • Skills: the Claude Code plugins that carry your team's way of working.

How it fits together

mattstack.app installs, updates and supervises the whole suite. The served apps share rt's background daemon and the shared settings store, so a setting you change in one place applies to all of them. fast-browser and flock keep their own settings.

Start here

  1. Install mattstack.app on your Mac.
  2. Walk through setup, as just you or as part of a team.
  3. If you work with others, read Teams and invites.
