gitq untrack
Stops tracking a stack, without touching any branch.
Usage
bash
gitq untrack <stackName>
Behavior
Removes the named stack from the store entirely (src/cli/commands/crud.ts:36-52). The branches it referenced, and their commits, are untouched; gitq simply forgets the shape.
- Refuses with usage help if
<stackName>is missing. - Refuses if no stack by that name is tracked:
gitq: no stack named <name> (have: ...). - Guarded by the stack lease (
requireStackFree,src/cli/slots.ts:19-27): refuses if the stack has a running or parked cascade, naming the lease and pointing atgitq continueorgitq abort. This is the lease, not the pause file; see The pause protocol. - Prints
untracked <stackName>on success. Under--json, emits{ removed: stackName }. See JSON output.
Exit codes
0: the stack was untracked.1: missing<stackName>, no stack by that name, or the stack has a running or parked lease.
See Exit codes for the general contract.
